Pre School Classes
Parent & Toddler Dance
Tiny tots - 3 years 30 minutes with a parent or carer joining in This is a great introduction to dance, suitable for children from approx 18 months upwards This magical class will help your child develop their confidence, their love of music and explore the world of dance with the security of you by their side. Singing, action songs & dancing with scarves, ribbons and lots more fun props. |

Through our carefully planned classes your child will develop their co-ordination, rhythm and spatial awareness through jumping, skipping, twirling and galloping with their friends. With parents and carers now waiting outside, we have our fantastic senior student helpers on hand to guide them in their first ballet steps in preparation for getting them ready and confident for big school.

We carefully split our classes by age group so that each child can progress and reach their full potential.
Classical Ballet
Ballet
Classes can be taken purely for fun or for the dedicated dancer.
Younger classes focus on imaginative and creative dance using props and storytelling, older classes focus on posture, technique, musicality and perfomance skills.
Pointework for older students who are strong enough and have a good basic technique.
Exams may be taken with the Royal Academy of Dance

Tap and Modern
We study the ISTD tap syllabus learning rhythm, accents and syncopation. Great for improving musicality and co ordination. Exams may be taken at the teachers disgression.
Modern is the basis of jazz technique which covers limbering and strengthening, floor work, lyrical and jazz movements as well as working on solo dance performances and expression. ISTD exams may be taken at the teachers disgression.

ADDITIONAL CLASSES
Junior / Senior Lyrical
Students from Y3 upwards may join this 'add on' class and learn lyrical dance routines and technical steps such as kicks, leaps and turns, with stretching and strengthening floorwork.
Acrobatics / Acro Dance
Stretching, strengthening and tricks. Working on the floor part of ‘gymnastics’ eg handstands, cartwheels, walkovers and more.
Intermediate Foundation RAD Ballet
For dedicated students age 8+ who want to further their technique and work towards the prestigious RAD Vocational Grade Exams. The class will also cover preparation for and pointework, body conditioning & stretching. This class is in addition to the regular grade class.
