MISS PHILIPPA - PRINCIPAL
Philippa trained professionally for 3 years at SLP College and a further 2 years at Preston Dance College. Whilst training she gained her Advanced exams with the RAD and ISTD and performing experience at Leeds City Varieties, The Royal Armouries and Wakefield Theatre Royal. Philippa has always had a talent for teaching and was thrilled to take over the running of the school in September 2013. She is continually updating her teaching skills and professional development and remains a Registered and Fully Qualified teacher with the RAD, ISTD and Acrobatic Arts.
MISS CLAIRE
Claire started dancing at an early age in Dronfield. At 18 she was awarded a full scholarship to train at Laine Theatre Arts where she achieved the Level 6 Trinity Diploma in Musical Theatre. During her time there Claire studied for RAD, ISTD and LAMDA exams successfully gaining high results in all subjects. Claire went on to work around the world on cruise ships for over 5 years where she trained to be an aerialist. During her time off the ships Claire has performed as an aerialist for many events around Europe. She has now returned home to follow her passion for dance and fitness and is continuously working towards higher qualifications in dance, pilates and aerial hoop.
MRS WHITE
Felicity is the founder of the school, and trained as a dancer at the Royal Ballet School at White Lodge from the age of 14. She set up the school in 1978 after moving into Eyam and wanted to pass on her knowledge to local families.
Since then, Mrs White has taught hundreds of children in her time, often two generations within the same family and is renowned in the Peak District for her ballet shows every two years featuring the well-known and much loved ‘Can Can'
